Kuo + Huang and Associates

Founded in 1998 by partners Hsuyuan Kuo and Effie Huang，KHAA is an inter-disciplinary architectural design firm based in Taipei，Taiwan. From urban planning to architectural and interior design，the practice of KHAA is deeply rooted in studies on living and design，thereby endowing each project an unique set of contextual considerations and Eastern aesthetics.

Till today，KHAA has achieved numerous extraordinary achievements，including Taiwan Outstanding Architect Award，Taiwan Architecture Award，Far Eastern Architectural Design Award，Taiwan Interior Design Award，JCD Design Award and Golden Pin Design Award，etc. The representative works of KHAA include AUO Mabuville，Eslite Hotel，Folio Hotel Daan Taipei，ParkLane by CMP，Technology and Art Pavilion in TNUA and Taiping Bleu&Book.

The core philosophy of KHAA is “Exploring Possibilities”. To the firm，design does not adhere to particular standards conformations. It is to our great pleasure that we are given opportunities to meander between different forms and formats，and still produce work that are instantly recognizable.
